  6.         source that you get directly from wilma.cs.brown.edu, it has
  7.         a *VERY* big problem -- several #define's are missing.  I have
  8.         cleaned this up and fixed any malloc() problems.
  9.         NO NEW FUNCTIONS HAVE BEEN ADDED.
